Revolution & AIL Bring a Great Weekend of events to Arizona

May 23rd & 24th, was a weekend filled with great events for the local Arizona skate scene. Gretchen & James from Revolution have really formed a strong inline community there. All the local skaters & parents support each other and are striving to continue growing the sport.

Revolution started the weekend off with a Friday evening video premiere of the new Radius Media issue. The scene then moved to the local Chandler skate park where everyone sessioned and hung out till way after dark.

The AIL event was held on Saturday morning at the Peoria City park. The 30,000 sq ft outdoor, concrete park was perfect location and believe it or not, the weather was nice & cool. Hundreds of people came out to compete, watch or support the event. Congratulations to everyone who skated and qualified for the AIL World Championships.

The Amateur Inline League visits 688 Skatepark

On May 18, an Amateur Inline event was held at 688 skate park in Clearwater, FL. The weather was great and the skate session was even better. After a fun long evening of skating at the park on Saturday evening, everyone made it back to the park on Sunday morning to compete in the 1st AIL event at 688.

AIL at Woodward West

The AIL Inline event at Woodward West on April 12th was a great success! 107 competitors made their way into the Hangar to compete, skate, and hang out with fellow AIL friends. Pro’s such as John Julio, Eric Bailey, Victor Arias, Brandon Smith, Richard Johnson, Katie Ketchum, and Robert Guerro were in the house. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone had a great time; skating, supporting each other and riding Woodward West’s 54,000 sq ft Hanger.
